Winter Dance Show

What a fun day!  Ellie danced in her 1st Just for Kix show today.  She is absolutely loving dance.  Last night she said, "I'm so excited, I've been waiting all year for this. "  Enjoy her two routines.

Wrestling

Last weekend Sam had his 1st Wrestling tournament. He and his dad worked hard to get ready for the big match.

After all of their hard work, we find out there is no one in Sam's weight class for him to wrestle.  Sam of course was bummed until he realized he got a trophy anyways.  He actually got 1st place for his weight class without even wrestling.  He also gets to wrestle at a state tournament in Rochester in March because of this automatic win.  What a way to go to state.  His dad got such a kick out of it he had to pick him up a professional wrestling championship belt too.  

Harlem Globetrotters

 This just may have been some of the best family fun we've had in a while.  Dave, Uncle Tony, Ellie, Sam and I went to the Harlem Globetrotter's in Rochester.  At one point Ellie looked at me and said, "This is Awesome"  Sam was loved the mascot Globie, and well I think the adults just loved the whole thing.  Ellie is already planning for better seats next year.  :)

 Happy New Year!  Dave and I enjoyed a fun night out with Colin, Lisa, and couple of our friends.

My how time flies by- I thought I'd finally post a few photos from the Christmas season.  We were able to celebrate Christmas with much of our immediate and extended family.  We had a wonderful Christmas and loved every minute of the excitement the kids showed at our various celebrations.  We made sure Santa could come down the chimney and even had to sleep with our door shut as Ellie didn't want our dog Herc to get in Santa's way.  :)

New Specs

During our Christmas vacation from school and work it was time for the dentist and eye doctor.  Ellie has worn glasses since age 7 and I believe I was near that age when I got my first pair.  Sam has decided to follow our footsteps too.  They are both very proud of their glasses that they both picked out themselves.
