Family Gathering

This was such a special day for the Eyre Family. We think the last time we were all together for something fun was at our wedding. These pictures include many of the family members on the Eyre side. We are excited to say after celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary all together we've decided a yearly summer family gathering is a necessity.

While eating supper with Uncle Chop, Sam mentioned they should go for a pontoon ride. Of course Chop couldn't resist Sam's smile and excitement. Here they are walking to the boat and then Sam is even helping drive. The face is priceless. I wonder who was having more fun- Sam or Uncle Chop.

Kite Flying

We had a family outing to Sam's school for kite flying and root beer floats. I was the photographer and Dave was the kite flying king- he was either untangling or helping get a kite in the air most of the evening. But, the smiles on their faces show the fun they were having.

A visit to school with Ellie

I was able to join Ellie for lunch one day at school and grab a few photos. She had a great year of 2nd grade in Mr. Meeker's classroom. It's amazing that she will start 3rd grade next fall. As I always say- where does the time go??
