Last Day of School

I can't believe how fast time goes.  It seems like we all just started the school year and we are now in the 3rd week of summer vacation already.  This post is just a glimpse at how fast the kids are growing.  The first picture is Sam on his 1st day of kindergarten.  The 2nd picture is on his last day of kindergarten.  For those of you who know me well- of course I cried after I dropped Sam off and even more when I picked him up on the last day of school.  He had a wonderful year with the most amazing teacher.  He is adding, subtracting, and reading.  His report card had comments such as: Sam is a joy to have in the classroom, He makes friends easily and loves learning.  His parents are just a bit proud!  Next you see Ellie on her first day of school and Ellie on her last day of school.  She had a great year of school- her math was hard enough that dad helped her instead of mom.  She informed us spelling was easy- she only had 99% most of the year and she really got into reading.  She loves chapter books now!  Her report card had comments from teacher such as: Displays musical ability, Ellie was a wonderful leader for our class this year!  I will miss her next year.  So maybe I didn't cry when I picked her up from school but I did when I read her report card.  Again she has some very proud parents.    It's now on to 1st grade and 4th grade.
